Terms of Service

Welcome to Talkville (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Talkville mobile application (the “App”). By downloading, accessing, or using Talkville, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Talkville. If you are under the age of majority in your country, you must have your parent or guardian’s permission.

2. Subscriptions & Payment

• Talkville is offered on a subscription basis (monthly or yearly).
• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store account settings.
• We do not provide refunds for unused portions of a subscription period.

3. User Content

When you use Talkville, you may enter or share text or other input (“User Content”). You remain responsible for your User Content. You agree not to post anything unlawful, harmful, harassing, or otherwise inappropriate. We may remove or restrict access to User Content that violates these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

• Do not use Talkville for unlawful or harmful purposes.
• Do not attempt to interfere with or disrupt the App’s functionality.
• Do not reverse engineer, copy, or distribute the App without authorization.

5. Intellectual Property

All rights in Talkville, including software, design, text, and graphics, are owned by Bolad Apps (or its licensors). You may not copy, distribute, or use our intellectual property without permission.

6. No Advice Disclaimer

Talkville provides simulated roleplay and conversation practice. It does not provide medical, psychological, legal, or professional advice. The App is for educational and entertainment purposes only.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Talkville if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Talkville is provided “as is” without warranties. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium and applicable European Union regulations. Disputes will be handled by the courts of Belgium, unless consumer protection laws provide otherwise.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will notify you (for example, via the App or App Store listing). Continued use of Talkville after changes means you accept the new Terms.
